The 'party was held at Mirny's Hall in j Ringwood and grosaed $229 from the ' sale of refreshments. Outstanding entertainment was I provided by local talent. A duet I was sun* by Pejjjfv Selsdorf and Sharon Grace Sells, accompanied by i Mrs. Delia Cheney, who later played a part of the evening for dancing; | accordian solos were played by Mel- | vin Lee, local instructor oh that , instrument, and by Tommy Helo- | cwist, who at 12, irises an almost professional performance; *nd by Mr. | and Mrs. J. Van Kanegan. Mr. Van- 1 Kanesran plays a really "hot" piano j and Mrs. Van Kanegan sings in such | an entertaining manner that those I who hear her would scarcely let her I stop to rest. The party food was all donations j Riven by sixty-four persons, none Of | whom have any children in the school. Costumes for the best "hard i times" outfits went to Dr. Raymond j Watkins (wearing the snowman's hat) and Mrs. P. L. Cormier, in some of her husband's old clothes. Runnersup were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Doyle, who were "Resrjredv Andy." Mrs. Charlotte Mayer was chairman for the party and she was agisted by a kitchen committee oansisting of Mrs. Rose Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. ' Charles Graffe, Mrs. Frances Riegel, Mrs. Marie Milbrandt, Mrs. J. Petersen, Mrs. Pauline Grill, Mrs. Stella Diggers, find Mrs. Birdie Bergdahl. During the course of the evening, "Happy Birthday to You" was sung in honor of Charles Graffe's 60th birthday. To this charming gentlemen, we would like to say tnat it will be nice to sing it over again for many birthdays to come. This very successful party was so much fun that it was a little difficult to sret the folks to jco home! To these who planned the party, we would like to say, "Congratulations." Wad CHABW & HHtt.
