Sunday, May 28, was observed as Loyalty Sunday and the friends and members <of the church brought pledges and gifts for the parsonage project. At the appointed time in the service the congregation presented their gifts and pledges, and standing sang a hymn of consecration. It brought a sehce of dedication and consecration not only of our lives to the service of God. Preceding this part of the' service the combined choirs sang Christenson's "Beautiful Savior." We are all eagerly awaiting the results of our Parsonage Campaign. This announcement will be forthcoming as soon as the remaining friends and members of the Church can be contacted. The task of visiting was just a little too large for the number' of teams visiting to complete in the length of time given. The remaining calls, will be made and the opportunity to bring the pledges to this Sunday's service will be given. We hope that all pledges will be in by that date, May 30. We would iike to thank .all those who have been visiting, and those who have given gifts, made -ledges and shown interest. Together we can put this campaign ever, it is up to us. • The appearance of the combined choirs last Sunday* was the last of the season. We would like* to thank the leaders, Mrs. Harrv Barr, Mrs. Donald Barger, Mrs .Peter Roche, and Mrs. Wayne Price for the time and effort spent in the directing of these choirs, and to Mrs. George Bohr, Mrs. Lyle Bassett, Donald Dowe and others for caring for the cherisbs during the preaching service, and all the members of the choirs for their part in the service.
