During the exercises, Roy French was "presented with a copy of the New Testament for the completion of a year of perfect attendance at Sunday School, from Oct. 5, 1947, to Oct. 3, 1948. This is a splendid -record. Congratulations, Roy. We sincerely hope that others who are nearing such an achievement will be able to equal your record. Lillian Price duplicated Roy's achievement in the primary department and was awarded a copy of Sallman's painting, "The Boy Christ." This makes six youngsters who have received such recognition during the past year. Sundav afternoon seven members of the youth group attended the sub-district Youth Rally held at Woodstock for Lake and MeHenry counties. It was an outdoor rally. Though the weather was a bit on the cool side it did not chill the spirit of some 140 young people. All joined in a spirited treasure hunt. Toby Johnson was among the group that carried off top honors for the hunt. After this a camp-fire was built and all gathered around it for group singing, lunch, and a worship service led by Rev.
