Starts Saturday Nigtit; McHenry TO Meet Marengo The drawings for the McHenry County Basketball Tournament to be held at Richmond, starting Saturday night this week, put the MCHS Warriors against Marengo. Richmond has a new gymnasium this year and should be wellequipped to provide for the teams and handle the large crowds which evidence interest in county team competition each year. The tournament wiil start Saturday night Dec. 17, and run through Wednesday, Dec. 21. For those who have followed the records this season a glance at . the drawings can point to only one conclusion--Hebron vs Crystal Lake in the finals. Of course, there is always the dark horse possibility, but the chances of an upset look slim. The McHenry-Mareago game will be played Monday night at 8:15. This may develop into quite a battle and a large crowd of McHenry fans ar« pulling for the Warriors to come through in this tussle. The two teams reaching the finals will bring their J. V. squads to play the preliminary game on Wednesday night. There will not be a consolation or third place gahie. Most observers at this point are rating Crystal Lake as the team to beat this year. However, all are aware that Hebron is noted for strong tournament play. Let's watch v!em and see what happens. Drawings Saturday, Dec. 17: Game No.. 1 - 6:30 p.m. - Huntley vs Woodstock. Abarted Calf When a cow loses her calf, own* ers always should suspect brucellosis as the cause, since approximately 80 per cent of all abortions in cows are due to this disease. However, at least a dozen other diseases and conditions may enter into the abortion picture, and it takes a careful herd examination to determine the exact nature of the trouble. Poisoning, injury, unsound reproductive organs, trichomoniasis, and vibrionic infection art among the factors that may prove to be the real cause.
