Phinney of Woodstock, secretary; Fred Sells of Wonder Lake, treasurer; N. L. Miller of Woodstock, associate treasurer. ' The following were elected to the board of directors: Mrs. Vera Burton, Richmond; Noah Cates, Alden; Donald Clarke, Cary, Lester Griffing, Woodstock; W. J. Heatley, Harvard; Mrs. Mary Higgins, Harvard; Mrs. Delno Johnson, Harvard; Mrs. Paul Marcke, Harvard; Dr. B. B. Neuchiller, Woodstock; Mr. and Mrs. Harry F. Powers, Cary; Dr. Henry W. Sandeen, Woodstock; Dr. John R. Tambone, Woodstock; Mrs. Mary Yates, Woodstock. With the organization of these public-spirited citizens of the community, some $2,000 will be transferred to McHenry county from Springfield for use in the work of the organization. Future funds Will be raised from Easter Seal sades. Anyone interested in participating in the activities of the organization is invited to address the secretary of the McHenry county chapter of the Illinois Association for the Crippled, Woodstock, Illinois. The next meeting is set for Tuesday evening, Feb. 7, at the county court house. The purpose of the McHenry coiunty chapter as adopted in the by-laws last week are as follows: . F--To maintain affiliation with and to cooperate with the Illinois organization and thfe National Society for Crippled Children and Adults in their development of programs for the general "Welfare of the handicapped and crippled. G--To receive, use, hold and apply funds, gifts, bequests, and endowments, or the proceeds thereof, to givp effect to and carry forward the purposes of this chapter and to participate in the Easter Seal sale sponsored by the Illinois organization and the National Sofciety for Crippled Children and Adults, Inc.
