Distribution of "It's Fun to Live in America" leaflets will be resumed: Our Kiwanls anniversary dinner was also discussed. However final plans on this are pending until Chairman Bob Beherns returns from his extended business trip. Tuesday. April 11-- Fellowship dinner at Marengo for District 6. the following made the trip: Joe Waynne, Al Repan, GeorgeColiette, Tony Grill, Joe Mottteloae, Hanson and Wagner. Representatives were present from Rochelle (7) DeKalb (11) Freeport (18) Rockford (25) and McHenry (7), besides the home club Marengo. Carl Sommers, secretary of IEI district, was toastmaster and boy what a wow he is. After he started there wasn't a sober face in the room. He introduced our Governor "Doc" Morris from Springfield, who after a few good jokes gave us a serious talk on Kiwanls and citizenship.
