A statement was received from the Secretary of the Illinois Association of Supervisors and County Commissioners informing the Board that the annual dues are now due. It was thereupon regularly moved by Supr. Dunning and duly seconded by Supr. Sterne that same be paid. And the roll being called the Chairman declared the motion unanimously carried. A petition for road ImpVovements in Riley ToWnship, signed by approximately twenty-one voters an4 tax payers in said vicinity asking that the County Aid Road passing through the center of Sectons 30 and 31 and running from Sections 19 in Riley to the DeKalb County Line, in McHenry County, Illinois, be placed on the Motor Fuel tax program was presented and read to the Board, after some discussion it was regularly moved by Supr. Nolan addressed the Board and stated that the McHenry County Junior Fair committee are making preparations to conduct a fair on the 27, 28, 29 and 30 of July, 1950, the Board of Supervisors for the use of the old Fair Grounds property to conduct said fair. The Clerk presented -and read to the Board 38 written objections received from property owners of Crystal Vista Sugdlvlslon in Grafton Township, and surrounding area, objecting to the replat and reloning of a block in the said subdivision. It was thereupon regularly moved by Supr. Mackeben and duly seconded by Supr. Sterne that the said objections be ordered filed and immediately referred to the Zoning Board of Appeals of McHenry County, and the Charman declared the motion unnanimously carried. Asst. Supr. Rosenthal addressed the Board and stated that he was strongly of the opinion that a building code, should be adopted by McHenry County similar in form to building codes that are in effect n adjoining counties, and that he knows of several developments that wtfuld be made in the County if a building code was in effect and he wondered if the new committee, appointed to work with the Zoning Board of Appeals have discussed the matter with the Board of Appeals. The Chairman stated .that he appointed the Committee but did not know at thsl writing whether they had. met with the Zoning Board of Appeals. Supr. Carl E. Wittmus, Chairman of the Committee, informed the Bfoard that a meeting would be arranged in the very near future to discuss the matter generally at some time when the Board of Appeals could be present. Cornue of Hebron twp. addressed the Board and stated that he felt that the Board should give some consideration to the adoption of a Special Tax to take care Of tuberculosis patients in out of County Sanitariums, he stated that these clajms are costing the Coonty about $40,000.00 a year, which is quite a drain on the general fund. It was the opinion of the Board that sonke action should be taken. The following monthly report of the County Treasurer, together with a report -on County Home and County Highway, were presented aad read to the Board, to-wit: Copy on file in the County Clerk'* office. . It was thereupon regularly moved by Supr. Wittmus and duly seconded by Supr. Sterne that the reports be approved and ordered place on file. The Committee on Fees and 8^ arlep presented the following report, which on motion of Asst. Supr. Mo-. Connell snd duly seconded by Supr. And the roll being called the Chairman declared the motion unanimously carried. The following Petition of the Highway Commissioner of McHenfiF'- Township in the matter of the Barnard's Mill Bridge over a branch or the Nlppersink Creek in said Township, requesting that a new bridge bebuilt at the site of said bridge was presented and read to the Boar* to-wit: , Copy on file In the County CleH^K office.
