We were happy Indeed to welcome them. We were' told that there are some 1,850,000 members 1%, 82,000 clubs throughout the nation. Ray. HorenbBrger, Jr., responded for the group, giving us some of the highlights of the club and named the officers, following which he asked the group to stand and led them in the 4-H pledge. The pastor used the 4-H goal as the theme of the morning address, "Better Living for a Better World," using as a text Psalm itel "The earth Is Che Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein." We hope that these young folk will come again soon. From' the circulating reports, the Thursday tea was a great success. The pastor can go -only by reports because he was unable to attend because of the measles. No, lie didn't have them but little Lucinda wished that he had. From 12:30 on for about an hour things were certainly buzzing in the cafeteria when the ladies from the circles and a few gentlemen scurried uround getting things in order. The final results were very pleasing to the eye as the tea, coffee and cake were delicious to the taste. The Terrytooners, the entertainers for the afternoon, put on a wonderful show which left the audience gasping for breath from laughing. It was a day to be remembered. In the evening the Terrytoon-. ers played to' another audience in the church parlors. They were sponsored by the Young Adults, who would like to thank all of you that supported them in this Undertaking. Next Sunday will be Membership IN FASHION WHIRL--It was bound to happen.
