It was agreed that a meeting between the boards of directors of/the fire department and the subdivision with the. public invited will be held in the very near future and the matter threshed out, _ A standing vote was held on the rezoning of the lot adjacent to the fire station property which is up for rezoning to be used for the on the present financial- erection of a telephone exchange building. The vote was almost unanimous against the rezoning of this lot. The president and board were directed to seek advice to "keep Indian Ridge the original residential area under which the membership purchased their property. Sally was also the only girl who had concentrated her four years of sports into two years. Joan Biggers. senior, was onn of the Wonder Lake girls who was an officer on the retiring board of the Girls' Athletic Association. Eleven Graduate From Harrison School • Thursday Evening Five girls and six boys received their eighth-grade graduation certificates from the hands of Mel S. Sellek. president of the Harrison school board, at exercises held in the school recently. They were the first class ever to graduate with ceremonies on the premises. Graduating were Janet Grill, Dorothy Bott, Clifford Ohlson, Shirley Sarenac, Mary Ann Martin, Ronald Vacula, Gertrude Smith, David Bott, Philip Armstrong, Robert Grosso and Jane Anderson. The Rey. The seventh and eighth grade chorus, tinder the direction of Mrs. Harriet Burten, sang several selections. Mary Ann Martin gave a history of the class; Shirley Sarenac read the class will and prophecy; Dorothy Bott spoke on "The Builders"; and Janet Grill sang a solo. J. H.
