The meeting was held in the new Westwood rural consolidated school. Other members of the panel were Mitphell Rane, Henry Marlowe, Norman Specht and W. H. Tammeus and their subject was "Are You Making Money?" The discussion was stimulating and thought provoking as well as educational. Nick Weinigart of McHenry and Job* Paulsen of Woodstock were elected to succeed themselves as directors of the .association, each for a term of three years. Ralph L. Ostrander, secretary-treasurer of the association, called attention, in his annual report, to the fact that new business has increased steadily the last three years from $187,000 In 1948 to $257,200 in 1950. A total of 220 members now own $76,600 in capital stock of the association, which has a book value of $1.82 on the dollar. A 6 per cent dividend was paid during the yea* which amounted to $4,525.00.
