Actually, they have just achieved the point at which vefls are most necessary-- and usually--most becoming. If crow's feat, frown creases or lines have begun to mar the beauty of your face, now*s the time to learn about the flattery of veils. In the same way that a softly-shaded light plays down facial imperfections, a l>it of netting across your face will veil the tall-tale marks of age. Experiment a little, until you've found the veil that does most lor you. Tbe shape of your face*your hair-do and your hat are all factors to be considered. Remember, an observer's eare will see the lower edge of the veil as a lirie across the face. Rarely is it attractive to see a flat, horizontal line sweeping across a woman's face. This tends to make the cheeks look broad. Round the bottom of the veil upward i bit, following the contour W the cheekbones, or, if ifs a long veil, the jaw ^ ^ . '*;V ' fTee . GRAY OPTOMETRIST JUSTICE RI LIM; Attorney General Elliott has ruled that thirteen justices of the peace elected this year in Mo- Donough county can serve only two instead of four years. Illinoie statutes specify four-year terma for justices, beginning in 1897. Since that year there have been thirteen terms of four years, with two years left over. Thus, Elliott held, the thirteen justices actually were elected to fill vacancies e piring in April, 1953. May 18, that was a huge success. We hope that more parents will turn out for future socials and make everyone a successful one. An enjoyable two weeks wa« spent by Don Leske's grandfather, S32 Main Street McHenry, 111.
