Forty Tears Ago Isaac Wentworth, an early settler of this village and who for quite a number of years was one of McHenry's best and most highly respected citizens, passed away at his late home at Athens. N. Y., last Sunday evening after about year's illness. The remains arrived in McHenry on Tuesday evening and were taken to the home of his son, W. B. Wentworth. - The potato patches are in danger of annihilation from potato bogs. It is noticeable that the patches are filled with bugs and more than generally in appearance at this time of the year. Dr. F. E. Wadhams of Chicago has opened his cottage, "Unte? den Linden," at Pistakee Bay. F. B. Doolittle Mis moved his coffe stock from the N. A. Huemann building on the north side of Main street on the west side to the east room of the Theodore Schiessle "building on the same street., Two Mormon ministers were in town last Friday evening and held a meeting at the corner of Green and Elm streets.
