June 21--Death separated lifelong friends for only a few hours when Mrs. Anna Wagner died following a short illness, followed a short time later by Mrs. Margaret Pitzen. Both were 88 years old. June 23--The community mourned the passing of Henry J. Miller. Democratic leader. June 25--Miss Clara Schiessle, sed away in her Chicago hotel apartment. Nov. 21--The Thanksgiving holiday was marred for three families by deaths. Frank Wiedrich died of a heart attack white working on his farm near Ringwood in the late afternoon. Nov. 26--injuries sustained in an auto accident which occurred on icy pavement near Elgin caused the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Gillis Loeshner, 73, of native of this city. Novotny, 59, of Regner Road, a summer resident of the community. Dec. 20--Nathaniel Hill, a resident of Regner Road, Pistakee Bay, died unexpectedly In a Chicago hospital. Dec. 21--Death claimed Wallace Hewitt, a resident here until fifteen ytars ago. He passed away in California.
