These rules j. must be complied with so please t take note. The Ladies auxiliary to the Lakemoor volunteer fire department held their regular meeting test Wednesday evening at the McDermott building. The final reading of the by-laws were given. Mrs. Hyatt reported that $87.60 was realized from the bake sale, proceeds to go to the "^flre department. Plans for the carnival parade lb be held July 17 at T p.irt. are th full swing. The parade includes children from the ages Of 2 to 12 inclusive, toot only from Lakemoor, but also from gurrounding communities. Registration fee is twenty-five cents per child and registration must be made by an adult. The time is July 17 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the McDehnott building. Prizes will be given to each child entered in the parade and larger prizes will be given for the best decorated vehicles an J flj^stumes in each group. Mrs. Marie Dorgan, president, appointed Mrs. Claude McDermott historian for the auxiliary. A penny social followed the meeting and refreshments were •fcrved. Three new members #ere added to the membership list: Mrs. Lorraine Heckman, Irs. Grace Hayes and Mrs. itrnard. Hostesses for the eveiing were Olive and Jessie Coritt, Helen Buchwalter, and Ilara Cammarata. The Lakemoor Jets did it when Elsie Dunn Niemi of Lakemoor exchanged wedding vows with Melvyn Ehredt of Ringwood. The bride wore a blue sheer dress with white * flowers and white accessories. Walter Niemi of Watson. Mich., brother of the bride, and Helmi Maeki of Chatham, Mich., sister of the bride, were attendants for the wedding. A reception took placc at the Ehredt farm in Ringvvood following the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hyatt, Sr., and Joseph Yaeger of Lakemoor are proud grandparents again. Dolores Hyatt presented Cliff Hyatt, Jr., with a girl last Saturday at the Woodstock Memorial hospital. The little girl will be named Ma.ry Charlene and she weighed in at almost 7 lb. , Clifford Todd, Jr., of Lakemoor returned from attending Boys State in Springfield Sunday evening. We are very sorry to learn that little Nancy Rhrhardt of Lakemoor is quite ill and is confined to her home. Perhaps a few cards would help to cheer the little lady up. Mr. and Mrs. Dembev and family are guests at th^, Walter Para home in Lakemoor for the weelc' Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fossl ' Cob Scouts (Den I) , were hosts to friends and relatives from Chicago on Sunday at their home in Lakemoor. Everyone had a very enjoyable day. With the fourth of July coming up this weekend, please drive carefully if you are planning on going anywhere. Take Mr. and Mrs. Claude Vachet spent the weekend in Vincennes, Ind., where they went to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. Mr. Vachet's brother, of Oregon, who flies his pwn plane, arrived with his wife for the celebration. A most enjoyable time was reported. Mrs. Claude Vachet was surprised on the occasion of her birthday last week when friends from Chicago and Gary called. They included Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Metz and daughters. Penny, Patty and Peggy, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur *Dreesbach, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Smith, Mr. an<l Mrs. Arthur Kirk and family and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Lenahan. CUB SCOUTS On Saturday, June 27, Cubs of Den 7 became Indians and did a most impressive dance for the parents and guests at the Webelos ceremony of Pack 362, which was held on the reservatidVi of the V. Cubs of Den 7 had just two weeks in which to get their costumes made and learn a dance by the time of the ceremony and the den' parents of Den 7 are very proud of the Cubs for the fine job that they did. The Cubs who participated to the program were Jimmy Becker Charles Dixof^, Bob Rodde, Bill Devereaux and Hugh Say nor, and were led by Den Chief Ken Booster (best TOM TOM player in the county). Ken Booster Was al»o presented with his den chief's cord, of which he is mighty proud, and which he is most deserving of fof the fine job which he is doing in Den 7. The Cubs and their dads will be quite* busy this next week getting medical exatnihatlons so that they can go tt> Camp Lowden together on the Cub-Dads weekend which is July 18 and 19. This promises to be an event that will long be remembered by the "Boys" (all of them), as a very fine program has been arranged for their pleasure.. FAIR AinaSSXONf James E.
