We give our deepest sympathy to the Simmons and Steadman family during this period of their sorrow. A very nice Rosary was found last Sunday in Lakemoor in front of the variety store by Mrs. Helen Povidas. If anyone can identify it, pleas* call Mc- Henry 561-W-l. A very lovely stork shower was given for Mrs. John Gray of ' Lakemoor last Wednesday evening. About twenty guests attended, games were played and HMMMIMMHIINII Mrs. Gray received everything for the expected addition to the family. A very tasty buffet snack of fancy sandwiches and coffee and cake were served. Everyone had. a nice time. Hostesses for the shower were Mrs. Raymond Cynowa, Mrs. Claude McDermott, Mrs. MacDaniels and Mrs. Smith. The Lakemoor Fire department carnival will be held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with proceeds for the community house. There will be rides and a lot of fun is in store for all those who attend. Interment was in St. Boniface cemetery. Leslie Davis Funeral services for Leslie Davis, 65, who resided southeast of McHenry, were held Monday afternoon, July 13, from the Wauconda Federated church.
