Jack and Florence Quinn of Farnsworth were visiting them last Week and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Allen and children, Timothy, Patrick and Cathy, of Farnsworth were also out to spend some time. Form 720: "A new torm for reporting excise taxes, FOi m 720 will be required to be filed for the first time in the month of October, 1953. The new form was instituted f<y reporting certain excise taxes on a quarterly instead of a monthly basis Taxpayers will file the new fornK on or before the last day of Che month following each quarter. The first retu.-n on Forrii 720 is due not later than Oct. SI, 1953. covering the months of July, August and September. As a part of the new quarterly excise tax system, many taxpayers also maka monthly deposits of the excise taxes with Federal Reserve banks or authorized commercial banks. ' "The flew return form was adopted for a two-fofd purpose. First, it is an economy measure to reduce the cost of tax administration. The use of the quarterly return form will reduce the number of returns to bo received by the district directors from 7.5 million to 2.5 million. This reduction in the number of returns received will result in ail appreciable annual saving.
