McHenry came back to outscore Townsends in the fourth quarter by 2 points, but that was not enough to cover up the 10 point margin left at the start of the quarter, the final score being 68 to 60. , Dick Gibbs again was high map with 26 points. Dick has a total of 114 points in five games for an average of 22.8 per game, well above his average for last year. Bob Miller drew second honors -with 12 points, Glenn Peterson had 8 while Sheahan and Draffhorn each had 6, Stolzke had 2 and Jerry Gibbs went scoreless hut played a very excellent defensive game. Coach Fulton used his entire •quad after the score took on a wide spread in the third quarter. Don Blake was on the ball and got the team off to an early lead. Loren Freund hit from all spots to sink 9 field goals and was a flash on defense, stealing the ball several times. • The Marengo team worked plenty hard all the way, but could not match the Warriors for size in the early stages nor could they hit on shots until subs were spread over the McHenry lineup in the fourth quarter. All in all the game was a good workout, but lacked the tenseness of, most games played on the locil floor this season. The wide gap in the third period came as a surprise, after fans saw Woodstock lead by one point at the quarter and McHenry take a one-point edge at the half. Lanky Dick Joosten scored 21 points while Danny Green turned in another smooth performance with a 17-point total.
