The fast and efficient work of the men was responsible for the situation being handled very well. Some. of the occupants of the car were taken to IM* Woodstock hospital by the rescue squad truck. Woodstock Lodge provided the surprise celebration. In all, sixty-six women were present from both lodges. Our meeting followed with nominations from the floor for candidates for our coming election of officers. Results from our preliminary nomination were also added to compound our complete ballot. Attention-- election will be held at our next meeting, initiation night, Tuesday, June 1. All co-workers in good standing are asked to attend the election. Plans for a pot-luck were made for this same evening. It is. to be held earlier,, at , 7, and eabh member is asked to • bring a favorite dish. , : A balloting committee was appointed to help with the counting of votes and other duties pertaining to the election. The members-elect are Mary Meyer, Helen Rodenkirk and Georgia Steubben. Reports due were publicity, Mooseheart alumni, library, ritual and hospital. Earlier, before our meeting gathered, a rehearsal was held for ritual practice by the ritual committee, with Hilda Mailfold as chairman. New Horizon certificates were awarded to all chairmen and coworkers who attended four or more committee meetings. , A thank you letter was read from Marge Fernstrom for the gift sent to her son and another thank you from Louis Swedo for cooperation with Boy Scout Troop 164, sponsored by the Mc- Henry Moose lodge. Co-worker Rita Nellis is back with us after the birth of a son. A new password was given by Senior Regent Ann Rodenkirk. Don't le' the failure of this knowledge hold you back from attending the coming election or pot-luck. Presentation of membership is all that is necessary. An appeal for help with the sale of poppies was read from Gertrude Barbian for Poppy Day, Saturday, May 22. Several of our co-workers volunteered. Refreshments weie served by a volunteer committee.
