Sponsors were Miss Lona Brever 'and James Wegener. Girl Scouts Troop 7 On May 3, at a troop meeting, Marty Conway and Mrs. Gans demonstrated artificial respiration. We had learned how to administer it. On May 10, Mrs. Gans pointed out and explained the pressure points of the body to prevent excess bleeding. Mrs. Leo Winkel came to our troop meeting on May 17 and talked to us about the care of blisters, nose bleeds, poisonous weeds, Insect bites, etc. Most of the girls have now completed their first aid badge. Harriett Dodd, associate matron, McHenry chapter, No. 547, O.E.S., announces that a family style turkey dinner is scheduled to be seived at the Acacia lodge hall on Saturday, June 12, starting »at 5:30 o'clock.
