HISTORICAL MEDICAL HIGHLIGHTS -- No. 5 HOOKE*S MICROSCOPE IT WAS in the 17th Century that the unseen world first was seen. Several men, experimenting with magnifying devices, inquired into the nature of things not visible to the eye. Englishman Robert Hooke discovered in 1665 that matter was made up of tiny cells ... using a microscope similar to that illustrated. Independently, Dutchman Antony van Leeuwenhoek in 1676 studied and made notes of tiny living organisms found in water. These original microscopes marked tfye beginning of a means of scientific study that was to lead to great conquests of disease. Thfere s an "unseen world" today which concerns you. Conditions in South American coffee producing countries determine theee costs. Normally, one type of coffee used in Eight O'Clock, Red Circle and Bokar cost to 41 a pound less than the other types used in these blends. We have reflected this difference in the retail prices of these blends. TODAY THE COST OF THE COFFEES IN THESE BLENDS IS ABOUT THE SAME. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON WHY, TEMPORARILY, WE ARE FORCED TO SELL ALL THREE BLENDS AT THE SAME PRICE. These three superb trends have always been of the same high quality -- they each have a distinctive flavor characteristic. There has been no change in Eight O'Clock, Red Circle and Bokar. To get the finest, freshest flavor for your money, buy one of these magnificent blends. Remember, they still cost less than 30 a cup!
