Seventeen of Wonder Lake's ISoy Scouts travelled to Camp Lowden, near Oregon, 111., Sunday where they will have two .jnfeeka of camping experience. 4-H Fair Winners Two Worder Lake girls, Martha 'Boldt and Betty Wright, were chosen at the county 4-H achievement day to represent McHenry county at the state fair next month. Only six girls were chosen for this honor, The girls will model clothing they made themselves. Martha, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boldt of Indian Ridge and a member of the Ringwood Sunshine Girls club, made a wool suit as her project. Betty, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Wright of Wickline Bay, made a lade formal. Betty is a member of the Wonder Lake Busy Bumhle Bees club. The Ringwood cltfb, with 12 Members, had all blue ribbon entries this year. The Wonder Lake club had five blue ribbon members. I In Midget League ' Driftgtas SeTlek, son of Selleks of Wonder Center, is one of the members of the Cubs team of Woodstock's Midget Baseball League. There are four teams in the league which will be affiliated with Utile League next year. Swlmmlag Clashes There are now 200 children enrolled in the swimming and water safety classes being conducted by the American Red Cross at two Wonder Lake beaches. The classes are conduc* ted at the Deep Spring Woodt beach and on the weat sidt of the lake at the Wonder Weeds beach. Instructors and guards have certificates from the Red Crow. Entertains Old Friends Fred Zandier held a t eunlon Sunday with a group of friends whom he had not seen for about ten years. The group formerly was under his tutelage at a TMCA in Chicago. Of the original 15 young men, eight were present at the Sunday reunion, accompanied by their wives. Only one has lost conta<~f with the group. Some of the men have become outstanding in their various fields. One of them is a professor at the American Institute in Beirut, Lebanon. Back From~Sooflheili TUfp Mr. and Mrs. P. L.
