The boys traveled b^ bus to see the New York Giants beat the Cubs. Last Sunday the two teams got back to their own,baseball rivalry with Johnsburg taking the best two out of three series with a 6-1 win. Johnsburg scored in the fourth when Melvln Freund's single, two walks and an error netted two runs. Tom Oeffling's single and Melvin Freund's second hit scored a run 'in the fifth. Bill Huemann's hit led to a run when he scored from second on an infiald out in the sixth. A walk, Frank Oeffling's hit and Melvin Freund's squeeze bunt brought Johnsburg's final two runs Ln the seventh.
