We should like to have as many students enroll in instrumental music as possible. Although instrumental music is not required, it is an extra advantage a student may have in our school system. In order to participate in this school function a student musty purchase his own instrument We know of several reliable instrument dealers from whom the instrument may be purchased. This is generally done on a rental basis for three months at which time the rental fee will be. applied to the purchase price of the instrument. "The student will then be placed in a small class- of about five to ten students and depending on • hirr < or *her progress^will then advance^ inte^fche junior high school band. "A representative of - a- leading instrument company will bring a number of instruments to McHenry, at which tirtie you and your child may choose the instrument you desire. The date is Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. in the Junior high school music room. "Instruments may also be obtained from other sources and I will be happy to give names and addresses.
