St. John's School News Reported to me by Dorothy Schaefer and Barbara Skrentny: The pupils of St. John's would ]i);r all the parents v.'liu children in our school to join the P.T.A. The fee is only fifty cents a year. Those who join before Nov. 1 will help their child's room win a prize. The prize will eventually go to the room having the largest number of parents registered in the f/organization. The first meeting will be held Monday, Sept. 27, at 8 o'clock in the School. A social hour to help raise funds will be held after the business meeting. Years ago, two scared first graders began roaming the halls of St. John's school. Now Adele Schmitt and Dorothy Hiller are two young ladies who have gone far and have entered Alverno college in Milwaukee. The college is run by the Franciscan Sisters, the same order that is in charge of our school. A few words of congratulations to Dennis May, who entered the Salvatorian seminary in St. Nazianz, Wis., and Donald Schmitt, wh6 went to the Sacred Heart seminary in Geneva, 111.
