She suggests setting up a morning schedule and letting it work for you rather than against you. You will find that-it Works for your children as /well as "for yourself. In planning such a time-table, be sure to allow enough time' for getting up, dressing and breakfast. Once your plan is established, you will find that it becomes more efficient as time goes by. Children should assume certafin tasks, such as setting the table, bringing in the milk and making the beds. Knowing w*hat their jobs are and when to do them will help your family get organized in the morning^ If you are rclaxjcd, your children will feel it and get off to a better start. A child that is pushed out of the door to catch We school bus may be irritated by that time, and the rebult will be a bad day in school. The unfair, on-American representation now exists in Illinois is Indicated in this which compares the largest,, and the smallest legislative districts In the sta&. The 7th District, large shaded area,* has & population of 850,000, as compared to the 39,000 population of the 17th District, the small shaded area. Yet, the 7th District, which includes most of the suburban towns of residential Cook Connty has the same repreln the legislature as the tiny, indus- "West Side Bloc" controlled 17th District. Every legislative district in Illinois is outvoted by the 17th district. The Blue Ballot Amendment will correct this situation, and is one of the reasons Blue Ballot supporters say that the Reapportionment Amendment carries ont the American ideal of fair representation for all citizens in Illinois. It Pays to MAKE MORE MILE AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN More milk will be available to Illinois school children under terms of an agreement with the state office of public instruction just signed by Vernon L. Nickell, superintendent. Nickell said Illinois is joining a nationwide effort to increase t'he consumption of milk by children in schools, authorized by Congress. To bring about these increases, the U.S. Department of Agriculture advances funds to the state agency, the office of public instruction,, which in turn reimburses the local school system for part of the cost of additional milk it serves. The milk will be bought directly from local dairies and distributors. Superintendent Nickell said the new program provides a wonderful opportunity to aid the chil^ dren to drink more milk -- the most perfect of all foods. He urged that parents assist the new program iby enrolling their children in it. He also asked that parents encourage their children's interest in the special school activities which will be designed to tell them more about milk, and why they should drink more dTlt.. ±t!ii liiinminii I Phone Jade is a green material found jH Anne in talc, or magnesium silicate.
