A 12:45 luncheon was served. The usual business meeting in- charge of the president, Mrs. Winn, was held. Roll call, was answered to by your favorite salad recipe. After the business meeting, a fine program in charge of Mrs. Oscar Berg'followed. Mrs. Mary Ann Wiedrich Wegener sang a couple of selections which were very much enjoyed; The Evening W.S.C.S. met at the home of Mrs. Nelson Cristy Wednesday evening. The usual business meeting was held. Plans were made for the bazaar and dinner to be held in the Legion hall at McHenry D«c. 7. Mrs. 'Althea Wallcington had the devotionals and Mrs. Bobbette Possum gave the* lesson on India, Ceylon and Pakistan. There were fourteen present. The Community duib will meet at the schoolhouse Thursday evening and they will have their feather party. Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Kauke of Lakemoor are the parents of a son, born Nov. 15.' Mrs. Kauke is the former Jean Betts. Mr. and Mis. Robert Betts had their baby son baptized David Robert Sunday at their home by Pastor Schroeder of Wonder Lake. Guests for dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cairns of Hebron, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bakka of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Betts Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Betts and family. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Seegert of McHenry spent Thursday evening in the George Shepard home. Mrs. Louis Hawley, Mrs. Viola Low, Mrs. Pete Sebastian and Mrs. Ben Walkington spent Friday in Chicago. * Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bruce and family visited relatives at Belvidere Saturday evening. Mrs. Lena Peet and daughter., Alice, Mrs. Ben Walkington and Mrs. Paul Walkington were visitors at New Glarus, Wis., Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Heine of Chicago were visitors in the George Shepard home Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wilcox of Woodstock and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Low and family spent Sunday in. the Beatty-Low home. Mr. :and .Mrs, Floyd Yardley and daughter, Linda, of Woodstock spent Tuesday evening in the Fred Bowman home. Mrs. Wm. Cruickshank spent Friday in trie GT E. L'ovelette home in Chicago. Mr. and Mr>. Henry Aissen attended a party in the Delbert Schroeder home at Woodstock Saturday evening. Mrs. Lester Carr and Miss Mae Wiedrich were visitors at Woodstock Thursday. Elijah Coates, who has been spending a few dkys in the Fred Wiedrich, Jr., home, returned to Woodstock with them. Kenneth cristy, Sr., is attending the IAA convention in Chicago this week. Mrs. Ardin Frisbie of Greenwood spent Sunday afternoon with her mother, Mrs. Flora Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schiiltze of Milwaukee spent Sunday in the Dr. Wm. Hepburn home. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cruickshank spent Friday evening in the Francis Costello home at Hartland and helpqfi Diane Costello celebrate brer first birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Waldon of Kenosha spent Sunday with Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Hepburn. Mr. and v Mrs. F. N. Muzzy were dinner guests .of relatives at Niles Sunday. Sunday dinner guests in the Walter Glauser^ home were Miss Grace Glauser of Chicago, Paul Glauser of McHenry and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Berg and daughter. -Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cristy were Sunday dinner guests in the Gordon Fos?um home. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fritz of Union were Sunday dinner guests in the Nelson Cristy home. In the afternoon they all were guests in the Kenneth Cristy home, where Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Fossum and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Cristy had their babies baptized. The Fossum daughter is Priscilla Jane and the Cristy daughter is Terry Ann. Rev. and Mrs. James Reid and, family ^ pastor of the Ringwood church, as well as Kenneth Cristy, Jr., of Chicago, Who spent the weekend here, were also guests. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Stochl of Downers Grove spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moravec. Mrs. Will Stewart of Richmond was a caller in the Dr. Hepburn home Sunday. Mrs. Ben Walkington, Mrs. John Hogan and Mrs. Chancey Harrison attended Home Bureau at the home of Mrs. Klopt at Wonder Lake Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Hogan and family attended county achievement night at Crystal Lake Saturday evening. Miss Mary Hogan received two outstanding awards. One was a twenty-five dollar bond and the other th$ Key -award from the Pure Oil company for leadership. Miss Lora Wiedrich was a visitor at McHenry Friday evening. Mrs. Stanley Hunt, den mother, and Mrs. John Hogan accompanied Cub Scouts to Chicago Saturday, where they went on a tour of the North Western freight yards. There were 625 that went from Rockford, Belvidere, Maren- Moravec go and Huntley in the group. Each Scout was accompanied by a parent. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bauer and family visited hid mother at McHenry Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Olsen of McHenry spent Thursday in the home of Ethel, Lora and Marian Wiedrich. ? Mr. and Mrs. Don Smart of Waukegan spent Saturday in the Fred Wiedrich, Jr., home. Mr. and Mrs. Phelps Saunders and daughter of Sycamore spent the weekend in the Fred Wiedrich, Jr., home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moravec attended the silver wedding reception for Mr. Moravec's brother, Joe Moravec, and wife in Cicero Saturday. Mrs. Jack Leonard and children of Lake Geneva spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wiedrich, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. John Linton spent Sunday with his parents at Lake Forest and his sister in Chicago; Mrs. Fred Wiedrich, Jr., Mrs. Louis Winn, Mrs. James Wegener and Mrs. Jack Leonard visited Kirk Craine at Waukegan Tuesday.
