The Leo Blake family were Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Wolowic of Druce Lake. Mr. and Mrs. George Dittman and children. Chuckie and Molly, and Mrs. Mabel Dittman of Elgin spent Thanksgiving day with Emil and Fred Wolf. Mrs. Dittman will be remembered as the former Marilyn Mertes. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Schoenholtz entertained the RusboldJ family and the Ben Freunds at dinner Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Schoenholtz and family spent Thanksgiving in the Gerald Schoenholtz home in Milwaukee, Wis. Mrs. Fred Leonard of Peoria, who had been visiting in Milwaukee, returned with them to spend the weekend here. Wilbert Hecht left Monday morning for a three-we^Jc vacation trip to Florida. Production Dec. 2 This Thursday evening at 8:30, the curtain rises on the first . pr oduction of the eighth grade of the McHenry Junior high school. Presented in theater-in-the-round, the three-act dramatic comedy, "The Ghost of Roaring Pines," will be produced by Charles Schuringa and directed by Ronald Nelsen and Cynthia Rourke. The cast includes John Moss, Cynthia Rourke, Charlotte Houda, Elvi Vann, Kenneth Booster, Judy Baur, Maryann Swenski, Judy Small, Jim Harding, Bob Cooper and Jim Kirk. The makeup and costumes were created by Eleanore Springman and Addie Felmenten. Next Thursday night, Dec. 9, j the 8C division of the eighth I grade will present the three-act comedy, "The Old Crab."
