VARIOUS COLLEGES The Future Teachers of America from McHenry high scluxfl took a very interesting field trij> earljier this month, with the junior and senior members of this group going to visit various colleges. The colleges which the students toured were Dekalb, Beloit, Alverno, National College of Education and Northwestern university. Although the procedures of the tours were different at each college visited, they all followed a basic pattern. The student^ toured the campuses and caught a glimpse of the classes and extracurricular activities. In some of the colleges, they were permitted to sit in on classes. All questions about the schools were answered by administrative directors, who supplied the students with bulletins And information. The colleges planned lunches and more activities in the afternoon. All the Future Teachers were grateful for the opportunity of visiting these colleges. - .
