!S wmmmmmmmmmm msm wesmmm- &**--- THE McHENRY PtAINDEALER Thursday, March 3, 1955 r;; r LAKE/MOOR & LILYMOOR By Mitfeitt* ftofi Report on the ULA. Dance After the final count of the returns of the dance, a net profit of $124.66 was realized on the dance given for the benefit of the Lakemoor volunteer fire department. Three-fourths of the total net profit is to go to the fire department of Lakemoor. This will amount to $93.51 and $31.17 is the profit of the L.I.A. organization. At the March meeting, which will be March 19, one of the firemen is asked to attend to accept this check. Thanks again to all who made this affair a success. We are sure those who did not help had very good reasons for not doing so and perhaps in the future we can again try to run a successful affair for this organization. L.UL March Meeting The March meeting will be an auction party where the ladies of the club will be asked to prepare a light lunch for two and wrap it in a lunch box. The boxes will be auctioned off to the men and the proceeds will go for the refreshments and to pay for entertainment for the evening. No names are to be put on the boxes so that the purchasers will not know whose box they are purchasing. So girls, start preparing for that night. weeks. Sorry, Dick, for misinforming the 'folks.
