Cullom-Knoll The meeting wis held Wednesday, April 27, at 'the beachhouse. Several projects were discussed and then tabled for future reference after 'the election. A report was given by Chester Sheriff concerning the work done on the roads. Ray Schiller, the road grader for Chuck Miller's Sand and Grayed company, was lauded ami commended highly far his efficiency on this project. We were most fortunate to have such a highly skilled technician perform this task. He worked against terrific odds but the finished product speaks for itself. Mr. Sheriff deserves praise for his part in directing and pointing out itfhe work to be done. This fine gentleman spent several days working with Mr. Schiller to complete the project, entirely without remuneration. A great big thanks, "Shorty," from a grateful community. The next meeting will be Wedvnesday, May 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the beachhouse. All Hands On Deck Or to be more specific, all hands, with strong men attached are urgently needed this Sunday morning, May 8, at the beach. The pier needs rebuilding aijnd setting and tlhere are benches to be installed. What nicer Mother's Day present for all the. mamas in the community than a nice comfortable place to sit while watching the youngsters splash and swim ? Lee Sawtio and George McOuat will be on hand to direct and help with the work. With enough help, the entire job probably won't take more tlhan a few hours. It would take a long time to determine who won the bet--but we'd be willing to wager that the lad in the picture winds up owning a Cadillac! We feel so confident because he is starting out like a typical Cadillac owner. Preponderate^, Cadillac owners are self-made men. They just emerge--from everywhere. But they are usually marked, quite early in life, by industry and the will to succeed. That's why we say that this wonderful lad-- out earning money to make himself selfsufficient-- is very likely to wind up owning a Cadillac car. Looking at him, as he labors here, we would estimate the class of 1985! We hope we are around to deliver his car when the great day arrives --for it's a great thrill to hand out the keys when an owner comes in for his first Cadillac. It's worth a lot to see the smile on his face and the gleam in his eye as he settles himself behind the wheel--studies the instrument panel to make sure of the controls--and floats away in the direction of home and a family celebration. Of course, for the lad in the picture, the thrill of that first Cadillac is a great many years away. But how about you? Is the time coming close for your dream of a Cadillac to come to a happy ending? If you feel that it is, we'd be happy--indeed--to see you. This is a wonderful year for owning a new Cadillac--whether it's your first or your fifth or your tenth. Never before has Cadillac performance been so marvelous--its beauty so arresting--its comfort and handling ease so delightful. It is more decisively than ever--the Standard of the World! Why not come in today--and check this for yourself? We'll gladly give ytm the keys and a car--for the most revealing hour you ever spent in a motor car. OVERTON CADILLAC-PONTIAC CO.
