We are most happy to have been, even in a small way, responsible for the progress which has Tesulted from their foresight and desire to provide their community with the most modern of garages. \ A typical American success story has been recorded in the history of the Overtons beginning humbly in 1909. \ Every detail of the new addition, as well as each piece of equipment, has been designed to provide the very best type of service in one of the most modern garages in this part of Illinois. The new grease department has the latest of equipment, featuring metered oil and grease cabinet, tiled walls and ample lighting. All stalls are equipped with, twin floor exhaust outlets and ceiling exhaust fans to eliminate all fumes. The parts department has been centrally located and enlarged td provide ample storage of parts for all cars. The location of this department eliminates the usual bottleneck found in most garages by offering a continuous traffic flow directly to the service department. > -f, \ p The new service department contains nine working stalls 5"» with individual work benches and hydraulic lifts. Modern ', J) lighting, tapered floors with cleaning drains plus the latest in equipment make this one of the finest service departments in northern Illinois. A separate washrack has been installed featuring tile walls and isolated from the other departments to prevent splashing of water on other cars in for service. Adjoining this is the undercoating room where all new cars are undercoated as they arrive from the factory. Pictured above is the new addition to the Overton Buick f Oldsmobile garage. The very latest in equipment and convenience is featured in the Overtop addition, which is now completed and serving the nfeeds of the driving public. Included are nine working stalls plus wash rack and grease rack, a large display room, air conditioned show room and pffices, new parts department, a room for under-coating, five hydraulic lifts and twin exhaust floor plan.as well as ample parking area which will be blacktopped in the near future. All this is a far cry from the meager equipment found in the first garage erected in the early days of the century. There must be great satisfaction in knowing that such progress has made Mc- Henry the fine city it is today.
