The chance of spreading disease is very possible when animals from several hundred farms are assembled and Jiave to be cared for under the same roof. Dairy Tuberculosis -- All animals must be T.B. tested to be qualified for show. Calves must have tests and health papers showing that the animals were tested. Animals from non-accredited herds must have test done within ninety days prior to the date of show. Anilhals from an accredited herd or Herd negative to test within the last year are qualified if proof can be furnished with entry. The point is that every animal must haye been individually tested by a qualified vet. ' Brucellosis -- Females and bulls otfer 6 months of age negative to test within ninety days of exhibition unless from a clean herd. Official calfhood vaccinates under 36 months of age are also OK, but any animal calfhood vaccinated and over 36 months must have a clean test. Absolutely no suspects are allowed to enter the premises of a show grounds. Swine All swine must be vaccinated. If modified live virus vaccines were used then the certificate must show them to have been vaccinated twenty-one or more days prior to show dates. Other vaccines must be administered as per instructions with absolute adherence to tim£ prior to showing considered. All breeding swine four months and over must have official brucellosis certificate showing them to be negative to agglutination test within ninety days of showing. Sheep Veterinary must inspect and make out a certificate within ninety days of show stating animals are free of scabies or any other injections or communicable disease. Poultry All poultry must have a certificate filled in by the owner | within five days of the date of • show, the certificate to be ; turned in at the show to the person in charge. Forms are available at the farm adviser's office. Out of State All out-of-state entries must comply with Illinois health laws and entries must be accompanied V. F. W. A tax is hereby imposed upon all persons engaged in the business of selling tangible personal property at retail in this city at the rate of one-half of one per cent of the gross receipts from such sales made in the course of such business while this ordinance is in .effect, in accordance with the provisions of Sec. 23-111 of the Revised Cities and Villages Act. Section 2. Every such person engaged in such business in the city shall file on or before the fifteenth day of each calendar month, the report to the State Department of Revenue required by Section Three of "An Act in Relation to ,i Tax upon Persons engaged in the Business of Selling Tangible Personal Property to Purchasers for Use or Consumption" approved June 28, 1933, as amended, and shall file a duplicate of such report with the city, clerk. Section 3. At the time such report is filed, there shall be paid to the State Department of Revenue the amount of tax hereby imposed on account of the receipts from sales of tangible personal property during the* preceding" month.
