Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hettermanri welcomed their fifth child last Monday evening, Aug. 29. The little fellow was brought via the stork to St. Tfcerese hospital and weighed in at 7 lbs. 15 oz. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Fischer entertained her brother and family of Chicago at their home in Jak- Ana Heights recently. The Fred Smith, Jr., family and Max Wagner spent last weekend at their summer home on North avenue. The news rs pretty short this week due to the correspondents' Eddie, Jr.. was welcomed home ; copy having to be in the office by his three brothers, Bob, Harry and Joe, and his sister, Kathy. The long legged bird was busy on the other side of the county on Sept. l, when he delivered a baby girl at the Woodstock hospital for Mr. and Mrs. Howie Thomas of Sunnyside Beach. This little miss has two brothers, Billy , all again next week, and Bruc'e, and a sister, Sandy. awaiting her at home. Congratulations to the new parents. a few days earlier. It was the final game for the championship. These boys played their first year as a team in - competition and came out on top of the heap. WONDER LAKE NEWS .Business Club The first regular meeting of the year was held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the home of Mrs. Gladys Senne in Woodstock. A short history of the club was given by charter Member Miss Mabel Hobbs and members who have maintained twenty year's continuous membership were honored. The club is celebrating its twenty-fifth year. The goal set .by the national club is to aim high to build better business women and every club is asked to keep this in mind in carrying out its work. Harrison P.T.A. The Harrison elementary school P.T.A. will hold its first meeting of the current school term at 8 o'clock on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Harrison school.
