She had been in poor health for the past eleven years. Survivors include a brother, William Bauer, of Eugene, Ore., two sisters, Mrs. Ella Gilliford and Mrs. Edna Jepsen of McHenry; also two nephews and one niece. Rev. J. Elliott Corhett officiated at last rites held frcnm the Peter M. Justen funeral at 10:30 o'clock Saturday, Oct. 30. Burial was private. Mary [Michels Mrs. Mary Michels, 72, of Johnsburg, died last Friday evening* Oct. 28, at Memorial hospital following a heart attack. Services were held at St. John's church Monday morning, with interment in the church cemetery. Mrs. Michels was born in Johnsburg April 6, 1883, & daughter of Frank and Catherine Miller. Her husband, Joseph, preceded her in death last year. Survivors are four sons, Frank, Leo, Arnold and Clarence; four daughters, Mrs. Albert Huff, Mrs. Frank Jung, Mrs. Angie DiBona and Mrs. Cletus LaFontaine; three brothers, Peter F. Miller, Joseph P. Miller and Anton Mil-' ler; and two sisters, Mrs. Mike Pitzen and Mrs. John Degen, all of this area. Lyle Gillette Lyle Gillette, 58, died at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, late Monday morning, Oct. 31, several hours after he had been/ disr covered unconscious in his room in the former North Western hotel. He was rushed to the hospital but failed to improve. Gillette, a native of Belvidere, came to McHenry from Rockford last May 5 and had been acting clerk at the'local North Western depot. He is survived by his sister, Nelva Gillette, a school teacher in Barrington. Duos Tope Enos Tope of Rock Falls died Thursday noon, Oct. 27, at the Villa Rest home, where he had been for the past year and a half. A retired printer, he leaves his widow, a son and a grandson. Services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Rock Falls Methodist church, with burial in Rock Falls cemetery. In June, 1955, the fuel adjust ment per kilowatthour was reduced and energy charges were increased an equal amount for all customers other than those served under special contracts. In addition, minor changes in wording are proposed to clarify the accounting for taxes directly allocable to the cost of fuel and the method of rounding fractions of .10c in applying the fuel adjustment to billings.
