He formerly made his home at McCullom Lake and was employed on various farms in this area. Mrs. Schwabe, driving her daughter to Lake Geneva to catch a bus, lost control on icy pavement on a curve and crashed into a tree, resulting in a demolished cat and severe injuries to the two women. DIE& Aimer Aavang, 66, a member of the county board of supervisors, representing' Greenwood township, for seven years, died Thursday afternoop, Dec. 22, in Memorial hospital. He wis active in county farming until a few years ago. His widow, Lily, four sons and two daughters ' are included among the survivors. They are Elmer and Rodney of Woodstock, Clarence of Huntley and Victor, serving with the Army in Japan; Mrs, Ethel Wilcox and Mrs, Bessie Worm of Woodstock. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters. Funeral rites were held Monday at 2 o'clock at Grace Lutheran church at Woodstock, with Rev. Hooker and Rev. Burton Schroeder, pastor of the Nativity church, Wonder Lake, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
