You boys will have to do a little practicing. Complaint Department We are hearing fhore and more complaints about careless and even malicious shooting of BB guns. little girl was hit this past week and as a result will lose a fingernail. Although the parents were nice enough to only put a warning in Jhe paper, they could have called the sheriff and some not - so - little boys would have really been in hot water. I advise you boys to be more careful in the future and the parents of BB gun owneis should do a bit more supervising. Another complaint aimed at the young boys of the community is throwing rocks at our street signs. It takes work and money to replace these and if you aren't careful, you young ones may be the ones who have to do it. After all, you live here too, you should not only share the pride but the responsibilities in your community. Another warning to the children is to leatfe dogs that are tied up alone. They just might be a little unhappy about the situation and take it out on you. Happy Birthday Joyce LaPar started the ball CLAIRE BEAUTY SHOPPE -- Our Operators are All Hairstylists -- 200 So. For the benefit of our new residents, the pioneers of the community had their mailboxes at the highway entrances iirttil this time. Also, at this time the LPPOA purchased the picnic tables that we have all been enjoying at the beaches this summer. The ditch-digging process began which improved our drainage system and the census of the subdivision taken one year ago showed 160 children and around 130 homes (It would be interesting to know how this number has increased.) We would like to take this opportunity to thank the people for their cooperation in making this column as much as we've, enjoyed writing it and with your help we hope to continue with a bigger and better coulmh for this coming year.
