CARPENTIE-R Sccrctary of State Impatience behind the steering wheel of a mo4^r vehicle has led to many an accident. Many motorists have discovered, unfortunately, that being in a "hurry" can only result in a prolonged delay because of an accident. Injuries and deaths may also result. '« It may not be the fastest way to arrive at a destination, but by being courteous we may avoid an accident. And while it does not aid a hurried trip at all, a .motorist should always be ready to yield the right-of-way. A quick start the instant a traffic signal turns green may also be a quick movement in the direction of an accident. \J~EB LOCAL FAMILIES MOURN DEATHS Passing on hills and curves is said by many an expert to be a sure way to "pass on" into eternity. There cite some motorists in such a hurry that they do not'realize that there are good reasons for the posting of speed limits. Safe travel 1b travel at a reasonable and proper speed. Weaving from one lane of traffic to the other is one of the surer ways of heading straight for an accident. If motorists would leave soondr for a destination, or settle for "better late than never," many accidents would be eliminated. A driver in a hurry--an impatient driver--can cause untold damage.
