This -was the work not of one man or one organization but of many, all of whom believed that life has a value only when it vjjjjas something valuable as its object, and exprassed that--belief by helping their felltnv man. Give a erippled child a chance. Give to Easter Seals. Letters From Home Letters from home mean a lot to the boys in service and especially when a new recruit is taken ill in the first weeks of his training- Bob Biggers can testify to this <0nd the letters and cards received by him at Ft. Leonard Wood while he was ill were greatly appreciated. He has recovered now and is going on with his training.: Do you owe a letter to a boy in service? Better write today. Across the Water I received a very nice message from Harry and Lois Thelen this week. Harry, as you know, is serving with Uncle Sam's army in Vicenza, Italy, and Lois' was able to join him there last August. They have been making the most of their overseas excursion by visiting many historical spiots such as Venice, Florence, Berchtesgaden, - Germany and Austria. They are looking forward to seeing the Vatican City in May. I'm ^ure both Harry and Lois agree it is nice to travel but so much nicer to return home. Harry should be bound for State-side come next fall.
