Goohl Gvm&i by Marie Schaettgen Easter and ham go together like love and marriage or April and showers. But whether it rains or snows, whether it's hot or cold, the weather may dampen your Easter bonnet but it won't dampen #the family's enthusiasm for your Easter ham if you do it this way. Raster Ham - Hawaiian Follow t h e directions for baking ham. The label directions are for that particular kind of ham and should not be ignored. Half hour before baking time is completed, remove ham from oven and cover top with drained pineapple slices. Place a maraschino cherry in the center of each slice. Spear pineapple chunks with cloves and stick into sides of ham. The pineapple's tangy flavor will penetrate all through the ham. Coat ham and pineapple with honey and return to oven. Baste with drippings and additional hofiey every ten minutes until pineapple slices are golden brown and glazed. Au gratln potatoes are a welcome change from the usual sweets to accompany ham. Spiced peaches and pineapple slices may be used as garnish on ham platter.
