The egg hunt is for all children grammer school age and under, and remember everyone that finds an egg will get a prize. Mothers, make sure your children are at the center promptly at 10 a.m., so they won't miss out on the fun. In case of bad weather, the hunt will be held inside the center. Get Well A speedy recovery is wished to Johnny Emmerich. Johnny's been confined with rheumatic fever, and we all hope he'll soon be able, to be out to play. We're also glad to see that Mr. Maclure is home from the hospital now and feeling better. It will be sometime before he will be back to work. On the sick list too is Mrs. Betty Johnson who's been confined to bed. We're sure they'd all appreciate any cards or letters from neighbors and friends.. Fender Denters Jim Bales and Don Dobecki picked the same week and the same day to get involved in accidents. It happened on that rainy day a couple of weeks .back. Both fellows came out without any injuries (we're happy to report), however, their cars weren't quite as lucky. Let this serve as a wise word to those who commute daily --please be careful! About Town Delicious aromas were abundant last Sunday as the Reinharts entertained their 'son - in - law's family, the Dowes,^ for dinner. Grace loves to cook, so we're sure a delicious dinner was the highlight of the day. Mrs. Rapp has had an enjoyable two weeks vacation at home diggins in her garden and making homemade bread. She has enjoyed having her son, Dick, home on leave from the navy before he leaves for California. Brownie Troop No. 269 Mrs. Haubold's troop is busy ag Brownies should be making doB dresses. The girls are enjoying their first attempt at sewing and are doing very well. Girl Scouts A good time was held by all at the last meeting when Mrs. Wilson and Erna Rockel, a Senior Scout, led the girls out to blaze a trail while another group tried to follow that trail. It was just a short walk, but the girls had some practical experience reading directions from rocks filed in certain formations. Day Camp Details There will be a day camp for Brownies and Girl Scouts of all ages on July 15 through 19. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and the camp site will be in McHenry. The charge will be $2.50 for five days which includes milk, bus fare and insurance. Scouts should sign up with their leaders. Unit leaders for the day Short And Sweet Jim Peloquin spent a short but enjoyable 12 hour pass, at home a week ago. His folks'i(nd friends all were very glad to see him looking so well and sb handsome in his navy uniform. Jackpot You guessed it! It was a boy for the Janquartz. Plats have been given to the police and fire departments to help them familiarize themselves with the subdivision. . A False Alarm Recently the Johnsburg Fire department wasted a great deal of time trying to locate a fire in the subdivision. This is just a reminder to you to give adequate information when phoning in. Remember, they have a map of the subdivision and will be able to locate your street. Part-Time Help Wanted Don't forget the call is still out for volunteers to help on Saturday mornings. The object is to improve the community, fering vour tools down to the center at 8:30 and they'll find something for you to do. Work stops at 11:30 which gives you the afternoon to help the "little woman." i The Rebels took three games from the Reracks, and the Rockets beat the Warriorsr twice. The Rebels were realy bowling, as they won their first game by 86 pins and the second game by 114 pins: .
