Those from the auxiliary attending were ' President Eleanor Reid, Elaine Gray and Dorothy Deidrich. It was announced that the McHenry unit is to entertain this month at the old people's home in Hartland. Doris Walker is in charge of this event and would like volunteers to go along with her. The cabaret dance held at the Legion home on April 6 was a huge success. After the floor show, dancing was done to a nine-piece band. Four 'teen-agers joined the regular band for the rest of the evening and they, all blended in so well it was really wonderful; Pearl Nerstad, auxiliary chairman for this affair, would like to thank all the volunteers for their help and cooperation. All the entertainment and the kitchen help was done by persons volunteering and it was much appreciated. Harry (Pelois) Mueller acted as M.C. for the following acts: Pearl Pietsch and Mary Einspar, vocalists; Art Mueller, comic; Karen Olsen, dance act; and Gladys Soucie, who rendered a delightful hula. Diane Tonyan and Tom Harrison teamed up to do the tango. Other entertainers included Peggy Strauser and Ken Booster and Jessica Gross and Phyllis Smith, dance teams. All in all it was a most delightful evening. HENRY TOPICS Glenn Paulsen At the McHENRY TV we have noticed that some people will have just that particular worti-out tube replaced which is causing the immediate trouble. They feel that at a later date when something else goes wrong, they can call you back for further service. Naturally, at the moment this is the least costly. However, it has been that if a complete preventshown by national statistics on many thousands of sets, that i fa complete preventive maintenance were made at once, the future calls would be prevented, and the Allan McKim total cost would be considerably less. Electronic parts wear out. They don't, wear out at the same time, but you can be sure that they will follow each other very consistently. A smart driver of an automobile will replace four tires on a car at once. He knows that the trouble he's having with one will be followed soon with the others. In the long run you save time and the extra expense of additional service calls. Phone 2233 next time and let us explain this further to your complete satisfaction. 522 W.
