Kramer died Thursday night, Sept. 26, at the age of 79 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John VanKajiegon. He had been in failing health for some time. His wife. Bertha, preceded him in. death. Subdivision Meeting The board of directors of Deep Spring Woods No. 2 subdivision met at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29, at Mathews hall. It was reported to the board that the aupit of the subdivision books had been completed and that they were found to be in order. Plans were made as to grading and plowing of the roads this winter. Speed signs are to be erected7 mostly for the benefit of surrounding subdivisions who use the roads as °a boat and notified the authorities. Through the identification number on the boat it Was found to belong to Dr. Meyer of Indian Ridge, a summer, resident. The owner is being notified by mail that his boat has been recovered and is in safe keeping. Vacations In The East Mrs. Dorothy McEachren of Indian Etidge returned last week from a three week and 4,000 mile trip through the East. Traveling with Mrs. Charles Martin of Gary she went by way of Independence, Mo., on a sightseeing trip of the Eastern states and New York. They climbed the statue of Liberty and viewed a West Point dress parade. They visited Mrs. Clara Lucke at Baldwin, Long Island, who formerly lived in .Woodstock. . Christ The King News The winter Mass schedule will go into effect beginning Sunday, Oct. 6. Masses will be at 8--9-- 10 and 11:30 p.m. with confessions on Saturday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. Catechism classes will resume Sunday, October 6 following the 9 a.m. Children's Mass. The Missionary Sisters of the Holy TViiiity assisted by Mrs. Crane and Mrs. Wight will again teach the children of the parish each Sunday at Mathews hall. Wonder Lake Bible Church News Every Wednesday evening at 7:30 the Bible church holds its midweek prayer meeting and bible study and wishes to extend a hearty invitation to all to come and join in the fellowship around God's word. Church Construction io Start The breaking of the ground on Oct. 27 for the new Christ the I£ing church, school and parish administration building will be the realization of a ten year dream for this Wonder Lake parish. Sealed bids will be opened Odt. 24, and construction is expected to begin around Nov: 1. The buildings will be located on the twenty-sevenf acre plot on' the east side of the county blacktop between Indian Ridge and Hickory Falls subdivisions. The Well for the new structure is currently being drilled. It is hoped that construction of the church . will be completed in the late spring in time for the increased attendance of summer residents next year. The basement building which has served as a Church will become the parish activity hall with the completion of the new church. Her daughter and her neighbor, Mrs. Rusjiak, have been giving convalescent care since her return iome.
