Wedding On TV Royce Bosselman, Richmond, was married Tuesday; Oct. 15 to Miss Rebecca Moore of North Carolina, on the TV network program, "Bride and Groom". The ceremony took place fn New York City. Miss Gail Shaw, a classmate of Roybes and a co-worker of Miss Moore at the McHenry hospital, was one of .the attendants. .The newlyweds received many lovely gifts. Teachers Convention The Northeastern division of the Illinois education association will hold a convention at St. Charles on Oct. 30. That means a day of vacation for the school children. Rescue Squad Dance The annual Hallowe'en masquerade dance for the benefit of the Richmond squad will be held Oct. 26 -at the Richmond Memorial hfljl. The dancing will start at l(r p.m. and continue until 2 a.m. Guest Speaker In the absence of Pastor Carlson the guest speaker at Grace church was Alan Dale of Beloit, Wis. Mr. Dale is a layman who has given and dedicated a large portion of his time and talents to God. Pastor Carlson and his family are taking a well earned vipation. Junior High Youth Fellowship, The junior high youth fellowship met Sunday at Grace church with Mr. and Mrs. M. Lackey as sponsors. The program consisted of a film strip on the fourth commandment. 85th Anniversary Rev. Ralph B. Noyce, pastor of the Community church celebrated the 35th anniversary of his ordination on Sunday. In honor of the occasion his son, Rev. Gaylord B. Noyce of Raleigh, North Carolina preached the Sunday sermon in the Community church. The woman's council presented Rev. Noyce with a slide projector. Here and There Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Noyce were the Allan S. Pearl family of Oak Park. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Noyce met their son, Rev. Gaylord B. Noyce of .Raleigh, N. C., at the airport in Chicago on Friday evening. After spending the weekend with his parents and preaching in the Community church on Sunday in honor of his father's thirty-fifth ordination anniversary, he returned to his home, leaving Chicago on Sunday evening. The Women's club of Richmond will hold a bakesale on Nov. 2. The United Lutheran church women of Grace Lutheran church will hold their annual smorgasbord on Nov. 6. Proceeds will be used toward purchasing additional property for the church. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ivers of Arlington Heights were Sunday, dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schulti. Arthur Groom, who has been employed at the Vogt drug store ever since Mr. Vogt has been in McHenry, resigned his position there last week to join the hospital corps of the regular United States Army. He is now in training at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Words comes from Ostend that C. E. Jecks sold twenty-nine pigs last week that brought him the neat little sum of $619.12.
