EASTWOOD MANOR by Peggy Garrelts Regular Meeting Our regular monthly meeting was held in the barn Friday night, Oct. 18. The meeting was attended by representatives from twenty interested families. Inasmuch as there are about ninety homes here now, we would like to see a larger attendance at our meetings. How about it? We are sure you would enjoy participating in the affairs of the association once you got started. Election of the boiard of directors was held. Ray Lessard was elected for a one-year term; Florence Noonan for a two-year term; and Leri Hansen for a three -year term, Charter Warren Krebs reported he has contacted a lawyer to take _ the necessary legal steps to obtain the document,from the state. The by-laws have been., mailed to the ? lawyer, along with the names of the present officers, Who will be the officers of record. Just as soon as we hear any further on this we will keep you posted. Warren and Louis Krebs had an enjoyable time at the deputies' social meeting at the Legion hall in Harvard, Oct. 23. It was a pleasant evening of dancing, topped off with a smorgasbord. Woodie and Gerry Wood recently became godparents to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pfeiffer's little Deborah Jo. The christening was held in Kenosha. Mrs. Pfeiffer is Gerry's sister. ^ Visitors Lois McCormack's mother, Mrs. Josie. Temple of Chicago, spent a few days visiting at the McCormack home this past week. She was saying goodbye to her grandchildren before taking off for the sunny southland for the winter. The Krebs, Warren ahd Louis, were host to Warren's mother, Mrs. Mary Jane Larson, over the weekend. Chicago. Patrick Carey finally, tiecame a teen-ager on Oct. 25 by becoming 13. We couldn't bet the ages on the following, but we understand they are voting age: Frank Woolwine became of age Oct. 281'Len Hansen celebrates Nov. 2; and Dolores Lawrence, Nov. 3. The committee in charge of all the arrangements'includes Jack Fultz, Otto Shaw, Ed Radner and Tom Simpson. All Eastwood Manor residents and their guests are welcome.
