The Christian - Mothers are planning their Christmas party for Wednesday evening, Dec. 11. Anniversary Celebration Mr. and Mrs. Joe Himplemann were feted one evening recently when about thirty relatives and friends gathered at their home in honor of their fifteenth wedding anniversary. A delicious buffet supper was served to all attending. The evening was climaxed with Joe and Dorothy being the recipients of many lovely gifts. Returns Home The friends of Mrs. Agnes Weber will be happy to learn she is now in her home after spending two weeks in a Chicago hospital. Our get well wishes are joined along with our prayers for continued improved health for Mrs. Weber. at Hettermann's service station at any time now. N« The troop which meets in the community club hall every Tuesday afternoon found Bonnie Oeff ling acting as hostess at a meet ing recently. During this particular meeting co-leader Gloria Jorgensen read a Brownie story to the girls while Lu Oeffling was teaching the tenderfoot rank to Diane Smith and Janice Schafer. These two young girls are looking forward to going on to the intermediate group. The girls also prepared turkey place mats for the Thanksgiving holiday. At the next meeting of the Brownie troop which meets on Wednesday afternoon in the public school the Christmas spirit will begin to take shape. The girls will draw names for a fifty cent gift exchange. Recently these girls completed their project of making carnations from tissues. Gathering around the Ed Hettermann table on Thanksgiving were Mrs. Helen Hettermann, the John Herdrich family and the Gerry Hettermann family along with Ed's own family. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Clute and sons of Battle Creek, Mich- Mr. and Mrs. Ray Buss and daughter of Clinton, la., Mr. and Mrs. George Oeffling, Sr., and daughters and Gerry Stilling were guests over the holiday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Oeffling, Jr. The Art Ka'ttner family of Spring Grove, the Richard Dehn family and Mrs. Lena Pitzen enjoyed their holiday dinner at the -[Bill May home. Mr. and Mrs. George Westfall have returned to their home in Birthday Corner Little Gregory Schniitt entertained several of his young friends at his home on Nov. 25 in honor of his third birthday. Making up the guest list were Debbie Brockragge of Crystal Lake, Barbara. David and Tommy Pomierski of Pistakee Bay, Ricky, Tommy and Bobby Wakitsch and Pat and Mary O'Connor of Jak-Ana Heights. Cake and ice cream were consumed in pretty good sized quantities by this young group. A very, happy birthday to Maureen McGuire and Holly Marshall who will both turn 2 this month. Bill May will observe his birthday this month also. Bill is a member in good standing of the "over 40" club. Rescue Squad Calls .During the course of last week, the rescue squad was called upon three times to lend their medical assistance. Early last week the squad members were called to Sunnyside Estates where they found it necessary to take a woman to the McHenry hospital for medical treatment. Twice last week the squad was called to the Bay area due to accident cases. The first accident involved a man who missed "a curve and rolled his car. He was not in need of medical aid following the accident. The second took place near Regner Road where a car hit a tree. .The car occupant was taken to the McHenry hospital for further medical treatment.
