At this -time, members of the school board will be selected. Parents in particular, should make every effort to become acquainted with the records of the candidates and vote accordingly. , Mrs. Emma Pyritz is judge of the election and will be assisted by Mrs. Elma Nelson and Mrs. Eleanor Cruetz. The polls will be open from 12 noon until 7 p.m. Get out and vote at the beach house. that Nature could hand out. He was admitted to the Veteran's Administration research hospital, 333 E.i Huron St. Chicago, . on FridW of last week. Max is in for tests and observation in connection with some trouble he has been suffering with, for quite some time. It's bad enough to be confined, without being so far away from home and good friends. We know how much Max would appreciate hearing from all of you. How about "drenching" him with get-well cards? His room number is 1305 along with the above address. Mrs. Helene Kolin is staying with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sales of Rolling Meadows while Max is confined. The greatest blow for Max was missing out on the big election which was held on Tuesday. He worked many hours for the candidates which he was supporting, and was on the ballot himself as Republican precinct committeeman for the first precinct. Village Board Meeting The regularly scheduled Meeting of the village, board will be held Monday, April 14 at 8 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend but please come early, because; the meetings start PROMPTLY and late comers are disturbing. I.adies of the Lake The gals will meet tonight at j 8 p m. in the beachhouse for a business meeting. Everyone is welcomed and invited to attend. Handicapped by the Weather The inclement weather Sunday certainly put a damper on the third annual egg roll for Easter Sunday, but the committee was not to be outdqne. The youngsters who appeared at the beach were treated to fancy colored eggs, candy and prizes, which were terrific. About seventy-five small fry were taken care of by the Easter bunny. Many families didn't bring the children to the beach, thinking that the affair had been called off. They were not forgotten, however. Bags of treats were distributed to those who could not attend. We think the intrepid committee deserves a rousing vote of thanks for performing so well in the face of the worst Easter Bonnets Not to be outdone by the from the course.^was when to j weather, the ladies of the comkeep HANDS OFF!
