A delicious dinner was served the attending members at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was opened with a prayer to "Our Lady of Good Counsel" at about 8:20 p.m. by Mrs. LeRoy McCall, the president. Mrs. McCall introduced Mrs. Edward Sliney of Elgin, who is the Rockford Diocesan Organization and Development chairman. The following work shops were set up by Mrs. Sliney; Spiritual Development; Home and School; Rural Life; Organization and Development; Presidents; and Libraries and Literature. These work shops will be in full swing on June 30 at the next McHenry deanery open meeting, which takes place at St. Mary's school hall in McHenry at 7:30 p.m. Printed material was handed to each work shop chairman to help her group accomplish their work.
