Then; on the following Sunday her husband, picked heir, up- and brought along with him for the day, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sendor, and several other members of the Sendor family. All had a wonderful time and I'm told they all went home singing and saying that tjjey would return to visit again. Last Wednesday I had my brother and his wife artd two little girls out for the day. My daughter, Elaine, and my niece, Judy, argued rath each other most of the day, but when it came time for them to part they both had ithemsehn& a good cry. Tohmburg Early Start Gads, nothing like getting started early in the morning and' I mean early, because at 9:30 last Tuesday morning Elaine Jett, Lee Glorch, Jean Parisi, Fran Ciria, Edith Lavin, Dot Becker, Daisy Krupinski and myself marched* in on Marge Franklin and told her to quick put on the coffee pot as we had all the doughnuts and sweet rolls. No sooner said than done and we were all sitting and ' consuming all these calories. Get Together On Wednesday afternoon Daisy ^Krupinski' had Elaine Jett, Lee Glorch, Dot Becker, Dorothy Humphreys, Marge Franklin, Mrs. I. Mazzoni, my mother and myself in for lemon cream pie and coffee and believe me she had baked four pies and she said that no one in her family liked them and that we would have to eat* them all. The score was tied 6 to 6 between Buss Motors and Hettermanri's going into the first of the seventh. The Hettermann team gathered the hitting power in this inning and belted in 8 runs. The Buss team tried their best to recuperate in the last of the sev-; enth but was unable to; drive' more than one run across the plate. The playoffs started^ Several weeks back between Buss, Bimbo's Hettermann's and another team sponsored by Bob-Inn. Our congratulations to the victors--Hettermann's Tavern team, for coming out on top in the ployoffs.. . Surprise! Surprise! . , Betty . Good Neighbors v It seems like a few oif the neighbors of the occupants of 36 Hillcrest Place gave them a helping hand Without-the owners' knowledge. A large pile of black dirt was dumped on the premises for1 future spreading in order to prepare fOr grass deeding. The helpful neighbors worked diligently to get this task finished and a little birdie told me they have pictures to prove it.
