To Mrs. Blanche Cleveland, Mrs. Jean Barnett's mother, who has returned from California to make her home with the Barnetts. Anniversary Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Siers who celebrated their thirtyeighth wedding anniversary this week, and to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moravec, who were married twenty- nine years ago last Sunday. Our Deepest Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Clarence Mueller on the very sudden death of her father. It is always such a shock to the family when death comes suddenly, but if any one of us could choose, that is what we would want for ourselves. Patty's friends will understand, and next year's birthday party will be happier. We speak from experience, your reporter's eighth birthday party was cancelled by her only grandfather's funeral. Dreamers Dick Barrows, Ken Schopp, and Sam Winters- attended the Men's Fellowship dinner meeting at the Community Methodist church last week, partly for the excellent dinner, but mostly to hear Eugene Kane speak on his boat building experiences. The name may not sound familiar, but all who have driven west on 120 will remember the fifty foot cruiser he is building in his back yard. After the meeting Mr. Kane took all the men on a . tour of his boat, thanks to Ed Mars' school bus. Please finish our house first, dear. Rumor has it the fishing has been pretty terrific lately. Those fpggy mornings last week were perfect for those hardy souls who enjoy getting out there at 6 a.m., but' tough luck for the poor defenseless fish. Stephen Klein Rites Funeral services for Stephen Klein were held at St. Peter's church on Friday morning at ten. Mr. Klein passed away on Nov. 18 at St. Joseph's home in Freeport, at the age of 91. He was born Aug. 24, 1867 in Johnsburg and has resided in the Johnsburg - Spring Grove area his entire lifetime. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. John Blake of McHemy and several nieces and nephews.
