Guest speaker for the occasion will be Mrs. Hilda Tigard, teacher at the educable, mentally handicapped room in ' Woodstock. There will be a . question and answer discussion concerning the need for education of these children and other matters pertaining to their welfare. There will also be a ^isplay of some of their class ^Ivork. There is a census being taken of all physically and mentally handicapped children between the ages of 3 and 21 years. Proper forms may be obtained at public schools or by contacting the association, Rt. 1, Wonder Lake, 111. James Malloy, Catholic chaplain at the Illinois' State graining School for Boys, will "pe&k on "Norms of Behavior in Children" on Monday, Dec. ' 1, at 8 p.m. He will address St. Mary's P.T.A. at their regular monthly meeting. Fr. Malloy has been chaplain at the Illinois Training School for Boys for three years. Radio Dispatched Mc, PHONE 723 EARLY RESIDENT OF COMMUNITY LAID TO REST McHenry relatives have received word of the death of Mrs. Mae Scanlon Sarauer, which occurred in Bloomer, Wis., Nov. 18. She was born in McHenry April 15, 1888, daughter of Patrick and Alice Walsh Scanlon. Following her mother's death, she was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Walsh, old time residents. She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Hie only survivor is an uncle, James Walsh, of Woodstock, and five cousins. Service and burial were in Bloomer Friday. Conclude Membership Tea Of Home Bureau A tea culminating the 1958-59 nembership drive of the McHenry. County Home Bureau was held last week, attended by 162 ladies. New members received a copy of the Home Bureau cook book. Although the drive is closed, hew members 'are welcomed at any time. Forty-two members represented their units at Woodstock the previous day when Mary Rose and Jean Pless demonstrated festive food ideas for the yuletide season, February and March holidays, Easter, Hallowe'en, Thanksgiving and birthdays. Winn, nationally known dairy farmer from Richmond, was re-elected first vicepresident of the National Milk Producers' federation in Boston, Mass., Nov. 19, during the federation's ^annual meeting. Winn is president of Pure Milk association, Chicago, a marketing cooperative which represents more than 14,000 dairy farmer members from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. He is also a member of the federation's executive •committee and chairman of a special committee to promote effective enforcement of laws and regulations pertaining to imitation dairy products. SET JUDGES' PAY The county board last week voted to pay twenty-five dollars to each judge of the last election. The fee was approved after members had defeated a motion to give each one twenty dollars. Gregory Charles is the name selected by Mr. and Mrs. John Longhway for their new son, born at Harvard hospital Nov. 5, weighing 6 lbs. 9 oz. He has a brother, Jimmy 5, and a sister, Kathy, 3%. Mr. and Mrs. William Brda are the parents of a daughter, born Nov. 17 at Memorial hospital, Woodstock. Carpentier has issued a charter to the Worthmor Improvement association, Rt. 1. McHenry, Albert L. Becko, Valentine A. Sellinger and Louis L. Pace. It is a social not-forprofit organization. Also released from the state office was a statement of intent to dissolve by the Chapel Hill Country club of McHenry.
